In Persian mythology, the Div is an untameable creature, neither demon nor god: a chaotic force that bows to no established order. What we produce carries that refusal.
We believe in stories that disturb. In forms that resist easy consumption. In images that linger after the lights come back up.
Fiction, animation, documentary, VR: the medium matters little if the work says something true about the world murmuring around us.
We stand for social realism and the absurd. The body and faith. The fall and transcendence. The grotesque and grace. We look for voices that have not yet had their space: invisible stories, off-centre imaginations, narratives that cross cultures without dissolving into any one of them.
Div Productions is an independent film and audiovisual label based in France, committed to one radical demand: making works that leave a mark.

Born in Tehran in 1997, based in France since 2023. His work explores social realism, the absurd, the grotesque, faith, the fall and immersive forms. He is a practice-based PhD candidate in film at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle — Paris 3.

He shapes the visual identity of Div Productions and the label's animation projects. His painting feeds the look of the works in development.

Festival Tool is live, for free
Div Productions launches a free tool for young filmmakers: 387 recognised festivals, eligibility rules, premiere strategy, calendar, budget, and a checker to spot festivals that live off entry fees.

CONDOM goes into production
The first short film produced under the Div Productions label shoots in October 2026. On his fortieth birthday, Sohrab stops existing: a minimalist, absurd and metaphysical film, in black and white.

CHARON sets out on the international festival circuit
Amirhossein BEIK's short film (24 min, co-produced by Gozar Institute of Art and Culture and Div Productions) begins its international festival run.

Writing
La Falaise completes its writing phase
The script of Amirhossein BEIK's first feature fiction film, set in a fishing village on the Breton coast, is reaching the end of its writing. The project is now open to discussions with producers.

Animation
Erosion becomes Div's animation priority
The dialogue-free animated short by Amirhossein BEIK and Sam BEIG is now the label's priority animation project. The storyboard and the final script changes are moving forward together.
